Its Monday morning again…..
Its that Monday feeling again.
The alarm goes off but you are awake anyway,
You have been awake for at least the last 30 minutes by your reckoning,
You have heard your neighbour leave for work at 5:20am (and bang his car door for good measure), its still dark and you know the heating comes on at 5:30am.
The alarm goes off and your body is already filled with dread and fear- as it has been since you woke up.
Its another Monday,
Its the beginning of another week.
Another week, just like the last.
You hope it will be better but deep down know its going to be worse, or at best the same as last week if you are lucky.
Is this you?
Yes you say, but its the Monday blues and don’t we all get them?
But its not the Monday blues you get after a wonderful holiday or Christmas is it?
No it’s more than that.
Its a deep seated fear of living a life of quiet (or not so quiet) desperation.
Its starting to affect your evenings as you think about all the things you will need to do tomorrow,
who you are going to have to see and who you do not want to see but know you have no choice.
You are already “at work” the evening before with all this preying on your mind.
You are missing out on being there, in body AND mind, with your better half, children and pets.
Its becoming more than only a Monday morning feeling and this worries you too.
The dread is creeping over you more and more.
Will it ever get better?
Well yes if know how and you know what to do.

Finding out what is the source of the blues is the first step.
You can’t solve a problem without knowing EXACTLY what the problem is.
This is where a lot of people become stuck.
They know there is a problem but not sure which of the problems it is or if its something else.
Sometimes its difficult to see the wood for the trees.
